Special application required to locate key-type feature on a shaft. This locator fits in standard Kitagawa three-jaw chuck. As the drawbar retracts for chuck clamping, an internal locator component rotates to bring the key into contact with a hardened locator pad, maintaining consistent orientation for live milling on turning center.
